You may never know how bad your eye sight is until you have them checked out. Watch Hannah's story on how she never realized how much she needed glasses until she tried them on.

"I'm Hannah, and I just got glasses for the first time in my life, and I never thought that I needed glasses. I was pretty much in denial about it for my entire life. I used to get headaches sometimes. Sometimes I couldn't see stuff. I started squinting more and more and finally one day I was watching TV with my mom and she was scrolling through the channels and she was like 'stop me if you see something that you want to watch', and I was like 'can you please read out to me because I can't see any of that'. So I went to the eye doctor the next day. I got these glasses and it turns out it was a pretty strong prescription I needed. Thought I wouldn't have to wear them all the time, but I do wear them all the time because it turns out that I can see the world way better now. I just didn't realize how bad it was, because when you put the glasses and you see the world looks so much clearer, but when your not wearing them, you don't have a basis for comparison. So I didn't realize how little I could see. Actually walking through Madison Square Park, the first day I did it with my glasses on, I could actually see the individual leaves on the trees. It was just totally amazing. In the future, maybe I'll get contacts, but I don't know. I kind of like the glasses. They're pretty fun."
